Platinum Essay

Platinum Essay If you hire the first company you come across online without finding any details about it, then it might not be safe. When you place an order, you specify the deadline by which you want to receive it. This is exactly what our writers are going to orient themselves toward. In fact, it probably can be done in 30 minutes or less. The time-consuming part of an essay is the research and how long that takes depends on how much you have to do. The prices at College Paper are within industry average, so the customers won’t get overcharged for their orders. Next, it’s possible to check the progress of an order or simply contact customer support for an inquiry via a live chat, Messenger, email, or phone, which is convenient. It’s recommended that you check whether the particular service you want to hire is legit and reliable. That should be enough for you to continue order papers from that team. When you get great results after the first two orders, you can be sure you found a loyal partner for academic writing. But the actual writing of the essay shouldn’t take too long at all. Once you find a great writing agency that offers all kinds of content for its users, you can stick with it. By assigning a word count, teachers get a more accurate length of essay than they would if they assigned homework by pages. Can someone explain to me why so many people are obsessed with word count and page count? If you start looking for the best essay services review, you’ll inevitably encounter Best Essays being recommended as one of the most secure writing agencies. It’s been available since 1997, and it doesn’t have a single stain on its reputation. Be sure that your essay won’t be even one minute late. It seems that the situation that the students who want to pay for their essays fear the most is that they make the payment and then receive a plagiarized paper. If you’re a writer, shouldn’t writing well be the most important thing? Why do writers seem to obsess over word count and page count? There are instances when you’re given an assignment, not by word count, but assigned by the number of pages. ” If you need to figure out words per page, you can use a words per page calculator. I think an important thing to point out here is that there’s a huge difference between writing a 1000 word essay and writing a good 1000 word essay. You want to see experience not only in the comments, but in the main reviews as well. You can trust a team that orders papers from different services before reviewing them. The editors place orders and review all aspects of a service in detail. The service will take your money and refuse to offer refunds. The writer may be late with the delivery or they may complete a useless paper. You can write an essay in hardly any time at all if you don’t do the proper research and don’t spend time editing what you wrote. If you’re going to write a good essay, it’s going to take more time. You should always give yourself more time than you think you’re going to need to get it done. If you already have all the research done and know what you want to say, then a 1000 word essay shouldn’t take more than an hour to write.

Ethical Issues of Wal-Mart - 2640 Words

The ethical issues of Wal-mart Introduction: A stakeholder is a person or a group that has an investment, share or interest in a business or an industry[1], it can also be classified as anyone that has an influence on the business. There are two types of stakeholders, primary and secondary. Primary stakeholders are necessary for the company’s survival, meaning people from the workers, supervisors, managers, to the customers, shareholders and board of directors; and secondary stakeholders do not typically engage in transactions with the company and therefore not essential to its survival, meaning the media, special interest group, etc. Since they have an influence in the company when there are any changes, they become a very important†¦show more content†¦Wal-Mart ignores the rights of the employees, and they have little control on the higher post staffs. Wal-Mart did not maximize the stakeholders’ wealth and value, they do not respect their business culture as much and uses forceful methods to get to an a greement. Why do you think Wal-Mart has had a recent number of ethical issues that have been in the news almost constantly? Wal-mart is the largest retailer in the world, which is possibly the most controversial business in America. Its sales are over $312,000 billion in 2006 and approximately 1.7 million employees around the world. Wal-mart has saves the average family an estimated $2329 per year[4]. Although Wal-mart is producing lower cost product to customer, but it also producing lots of ethical issues when it provides this benefit to their customers. Relatively low payment of Wal-mart employees: Why Wal-mart can provide such a low price product, from my opinion, there are two main reasons. A company usually minimize its cost by lowest its labor cost and lower its cost when import product. The reason of why Wal-mart can minimize its labor cost is because in most Wal-mart store, Wal-mart is the monopsony, as a monopsony Wal-mart will be the single buyer of the labor force. As long as Wal-mart is the single buyer, they have a monopoly power to become a â€Å"wage maker† because the wage rate it must pay varies directly with the number of workers it employs. Porters 5 Forces for Car2go Project in Osaka, Japan

Introduction The use of Porter’s five forces in analyzing the business plans is something that is today almost synonymous to the process of strategic marketing planning. These five forces, advanced by the renowned macroeconomist and Harvard scholar; Michael E. Porter in 1979, essentially help in guiding business planners on what to expect in their new business ventures and how they should handle their challenges as well as opportunities.Advertising We will write a custom research paper sample on Porter’s 5 Forces for Car2go Project in Osaka, Japan specifically for you for only $16.05 $11/page Learn More These forces are: Threat of New Entrants, Bargaining Power of Suppliers, Bargaining Power of Buyers, Rivalry among Existing Competitors, and Threat of Substitute Products or Services as summarised in the diagram below. A circumspective analysis of these forces, in relations to the proposed Car2go project in Osaka, Japan, is succinctly done below. Main Discussion Threat of New Entrants In essence, the arena of transportation (both public and private) is flooded with constant entry of new entrants based on the ever increasing need for people to move from one place to another. As a result, there is always a ready market for new entrants. Osaka, Japan being a reportedly business hubbub, entry of new competitors is bound to happen and we therefore have to be ready and prepared to deal with that. To deal with the above challenge, Car2go plans to widen the scope of its businesses such that the entry of new competitors will not have much effect to their business endeavors. Pilot programs of these new diversifications are already underway in the current branch in terms of their products and services. By the time we move into Osaka, Japan, the company will have already known the relevant and fitting plans to put in place while also being aware of the ones to be ignored. Bargaining Power of Suppliers In assessing the aspect of d ealing with the bargaining power of suppliers, we have to chiefly consider the elements of cost and time to be utilized in the project. Given the fact that Car2go already has working system of suppliers that get to internationally supply the company in countries and regions like U.S.A, U.K, Canada, Germany, France, Austria and Netherlands; the company intends to use the same suppliers for purposes of cost and time efficacy.Advertising Looking for research paper on business economics? In times like these, new suppliers will be required so that the company is able to duly serve its new customers at Osaka, Japan. To this regard, Car2go will therefore have to increase the number of suppliers so as not to be af fected by any market fluctuations. Bargaining Power of Buyers Studies by our market researchers indicate that a good number of public and private transportation and car rental companies exist in Osaka, Japan. With the rise in the number of outlets offering products and services similar to Car2go, customers will have a wide range of options to choose from. In effect, this will result into a price war ultimately favouring customers. In other words, the customers will have a high bargaining power thus making cost-plans for quite challenging for service providers. In regard to our case, Car2go is renowned for having good prices for its buyers. This good price system will be replicated in the Osaka, Japan so no difficulty is expected. Rivalry among Existing Competitors As glimpsed in the previous section, Osaka, Japan already has a significant number of companies offering products and similar to ours. Rivalry from these existing competitors is bound to fierce and expectedly tough. Howeve r, scholarly and market reports from various quarters indicate that Car2go is reputed for having good relations with other market players so very minimal challenges are expected. Even more importantly, the existing players only act as a motivation for Car2go to work extra hard—something which is bound to ensure that continuous progress ensues. Our good brand name in car rentals services as well as in both public and private transportation will also be a plus for Car2go in edging off the competition from the existing competitors. Threat of Substitute Products or Services In today’s fast growing and highly competitive market of transportation, there is need for organizations to adopt an effective strategy for marketing in order to gain revenues and gain competitive advantage as well as meet its operational goals (Czinkota Ronkainen 186-190). This is driven by the presence of competition among companies for the already relatively-full market. A company that has inferior products and services rarely attains success, or survives in such a market (Porter 201-205). This occurs since those companies that have effective marketing strategies win a large pool of customers in comparison to those companies that have weak marketing strategies.Advertising We will write a custom research paper sample on Porter’s 5 Forces for Car2go Project in Osaka, Japan specifically for you for only $16.05 $11/page Learn More Over time, success in Car2go is usually measured in terms of gains (market share, revenues), and meeting operational goals. So, in order to fulfil these vital aspects of success, we intend to implement a diversification plan which entails venturing into other regions while bettering its product and services. In effect, the threat of substitute products or services will be thwarted while the company’s targets are met thus ensuring that we achieve overall success. Summary Just like most business ventures, our pro ject plans, in regard to Porter’s 5 Forces, may result in success or failure. It is for this reason that this plan calls for everyone involved to ardently play his/her part. It is only by doing this that we can have some assurance that our plans will be foolproof of the usual market hiccups and the never-ending economic challenges. Additionally, as seen in many other companies who have followed the formula we are proposing to institute the new branch in Osaka, Japan; we expect some copycat competition from our numerous competitors after we launch our branch. So in order to stay a step ahead of such competitors, we are planning to periodically revolutionize our operations after commencement in Osaka, Japan. Revolutionizing and bettering the myriad of facets entailed in Porter’s 5 forces will definitely offer Car2go competitive advantage over other market players. Finally, it is worth noting that the Japanese market, to be specific, and the Asian market, in general, is h ighly dynamic and sophisticated. In order to survive in it, we not only intend to use strategies that have previously worked in our other branches but we also intend to customize and adapt our transportation products and services to the existing market intricacies. This way, our success will be highly guaranteed. Works Cited Czinkota, Michael R., Ronkainen, Ilkka A. International Market. 8th Ed. 2007. London: Cengage Learning, Print. Porter, Michael E. Free Essays on Fried Green Tomatoes

Compare & Contrast: Deaths in â€Å"Fried Green Tomatoes† â€Å"Fried Green Tomatoes at the Whistle Stop Cafe† by Fannie Flagg is a wonderfully written book that blends an on-going drama of a small town. But the movie that portrays this book is different in many ways. One aspect of the novel that is portrayed differently in the movie is the deaths of Buddy, Ruth and Frank Bennet. Although the incidents in the movie go hand-in-hand with the novel, the events that lead to the deaths of these characters differ in description. Both the book and the movie differ greatly but eventually lead to the same fateful outcome in the movie. Buddy is seen to be flirting with Ruth, who has come to visit and happens to be attending Leona’s wedding. Buddy, Ruth and Idgie calmly take a stroll through a running river to a spot over the railroad tracks. While kissing Buddy, Ruth’s hat is blown away down to the tracks. Buddy politely goes after it to impress Ruth. After finally catching it, he suddenly realizes that his foot is caught in the rails when he hears the oncoming train. He frantically tries to free him self but is unsuccessful and is killed. In the novel too, Buddy is killed in a train accident, but the description leading up to his death differs from the movie. Instead of a wedding Buddy is attending a church picnic. After the picnic the Threadgoode boys all get together and go to the train station to say their good-byes to a group leaving town. Buddy starts flirting around with Marie Miller. As she begins to leave Buddy stops on the rail road tracks and looks back to Marie and tips his hat and gives a big smile in respect. Taking a UK Public Service provider of your choice what might its Essay

Taking a UK Public Service provider of your choice what might its Business Objective(s) be - Essay Example This is because it is going to support the macroeconomic structures of the country and this will ultimately improve lives in the United Kingdom. Macroeconomics is the performance, structure and behaviour of the entire economy of a nation and how it links to the wider global as well as internal economic units (Imrie et al, 2009). In order to assess whether the London 2012 Olympic Games is beneficial to the UK or not, it would be better to approach the whole situation through the study of trends in the macro economy. Expenditure It is noted that there is a budget of ?9.35 billion that was set aside for the London 2012 Olympics (Department of Culture Media & Sport, 2011). This amount is to be funded mainly by the International Olympics committee, thereby inferring that the funds for the games would be generated from the global community and not the British Government. This implies that there will be an injection of funds and capital that would help to develop the UK economy and add up t o the current infrastructural base of the country. Also there will be enormous injection into the economy that will boost the various economic units of the economy to enable the economy to make important gains that would help it into the future. According to PriceWaterhouseCoopers, the UK economy would benefit from the London 2012 Games from three main angles: 1. Global Economic Support 2. Business Support, Innovations & Diversification & 3. People Skills & Employment Global Economic Support The UK will benefit from the concentration of foreign investment in the country. This is because the International Olympics Committee will be involved in funding the budget of ?9.35 Billion which would be used to develop the various components of the economy to enable the nation to meet all the necessary requirements of the Games. This money will provide various levels of financial and economic support to important elements of the economy. This will enable the country to report gains and this is likely to improve the standards of living in the UK on an aggregate level. The Gross Domestic Product is a measure of the worth of output in a given economy in monetary terms at a given point in time. It is a concept that seeks to evaluate the net worth of economic activities of the various sectors in a given economy at a given point in time. PriceWaterhouseCoopers reports that the Gross Domestic Product of the UK will enjoy about ?2 billion increase between 2005 and 2016, which can be linked directly to the London 2012 Games and the corresponding investments made by the international community in the country. Out of this figure, London alone will get an increase of ?0.5 billion which can be directly attributed to the event. Secondly, the London 2012 Games is to inject much needed infrastructure into the nation's economy. This is through the building and renovation of stadiums, sporting facilities, accommodation, airports and other important facilities throughout the country. Out o f this, it is expected that the infrastructural base of London will increase by a total of ?0.6 billion whilst infrastructure in the rest of the UK will increase by ?0.2 billion. The increase in infrastructural units attributed to the London Olympics is a major addition and economic injection into the country's economy. This is because these infrastructure will add up to the asset base of the country and long after the games are over, the

Aol Time Warner Merger By Nina Munk Essay Example | Topics and Well Written Essays - 1250 words

Aol Time Warner Merger By Nina Munk - Essay Example During the same year the group's recording and music publishing arm was sold for US$2.6 billion to a consortium led by Edgar Bronfman (former head of Universal), becoming Warner Music. ''Fools Rush In,'' by Nina Munk, a contributing editor at Vanity Fair, is the best so far. Marrying exemplary reporting with lively, lucid writing, she makes a convincing and devastating at the same time case that Levin wrecked the legacy of Henry Luce, the founder of Time Inc., in the service of his ego. Levin wanted to redeem his weak performance at the company's helm with what he liked to call a transforming transaction. He had already transformed Time once, in 1990, when he helped engineer its merger with Warner Communications. That was another lousy deal. What he transformed in the AOL merger was $200 billion of his shareholders' money into nothing. Munk's entry to the growing list of books about the AOL Time Warner merger provides a thorough recap of the catastrophe, with the author coming to her own conclusion on the causes behind the merger's failure. After more than 100 pages of the obligatory background on AOL and its chairman, Steve Case, and Time Warner and chairman Jerry Levin, Munk begins to make her argument that Case and Levin, who ran their companies with few checks and balances, bear the greatest responsibility for orchestrating a deal that had little chance to succeed. She presses her case by hitting hard on the fact that few Time Warner executives knew about the pending deal until hours before it was announced, and that even fewer executives supported the proposal. That due diligence for the $165-billion merger only took three days and that many of the merged company's top managers sold large chunks of stock (including Case who sold shares worth $100 million) shortly after the deal closed is further proof to Munk that the combination was not well thought out and that many managers had doubts about its success from the very beginning. For readers looking for a quick review of events surrounding the AOL Time Warner merger, Munk's book fits the bill, but for those who are already well versed on the subject, Munk (a contributing editor at Vanity Fair) adds little new information. Many readers will find Munk's book comparable in terms of entertainment value (especially humor) as well as quality of thinking and writing. Both were thoroughly researched. The completion of each was aided and enriched by dozens of rigorous interviews of key participants. However, there is one significant difference: senior-level executives at Enron (notably Jeffrey Skilling and Andrew Fastow) have been accused and some charged with serious illegalities whereas none of those involved with the merger of AOL and Time Warner have, at least until now. "This is a the story of how two men, Jerry Levin and Steve Case, caused what may be the biggest train wreck in the history of corporate America." Munk goes on to suggest that "In broad terms, the disastrous merger of Time Warner and AOL epitomizes the culture of corporate America and Wall Street in the late 1900s." Part Three The Big Deal: AOL and Time Warner, 1999-2000. Step-by-step, Munk traces the process which eventually resulted in "the biggest train wreck in the history of corporate America." I was fascinated to learn about the nature and extent of Ted Turner's involvement amidst corporate intrigues which would have made the Medici envious. Part Four
